Special Council

THAT the Special Council Agenda dated June 30, 2025 be adopted as presented.

THAT Council recess and convene as Committee of the Whole in open session at 9:34 a.m.

THAT, pursuant to Section 239(4) of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c.25, notice is hereby given that the Committee of the Whole intends to hold a closed session meeting in the Richard P. Bates Boardroom to deal with matters pursuant to Section 239(2) (b), (c) and (e) of the said Act.

Recommendation: THAT Committee of the Whole rise from closed session and Council be reconvened in open session at 12:50 p.m.

THAT Report AD-12-25, dated June 30, 2025, regarding Organization Structure be received; AND THAT Council support the implementation of the updated organization structure as set out Report AD-12-25 and as identified in Schedule “A”. THAT Report AD-14-25, dated June 30, 2025, regarding the Market and Pay Equity Salary Review be received; AND THAT Council approve the implementation of the revised non- union salary grid effective July 2, 2025, to be funded from the previously approved salary budget allocation; AND THAT the remaining balance from the 2025 salary budget allocation be used to enhance the Township’s health and dental benefits plan for non-union staff, effective July 2, 2025; AND THAT staff be directed to incorporate the ongoing costs associated with the revised compensation and benefits structure into future Township operating budgets.

THAT Report AD-13-25, dated June 30, 2025, regarding Municipal Real Estate be received; AND THAT the direction provided to staff on the real estate items identified within this report be adopted.

THAT Bylaw 2025.43, a bylaw to confirm the proceedings of the Council meeting held on the 30th day of June 2025, be considered read a first, second and third time and finally passed.
