Special Council

That the Special Council agenda dated September 11, 2023 be adopted as presented.

THAT the Minutes of Settlement with Lagoon Bay Holdings GP Inc be received; AND THAT staff prepare the necessary bylaw for the Mayor and Clerk to execute the agreement.

THAT we receive the Certificate of Approval dated September 11, 2023 for the part of the original road allowance between lots 15 and 16, Concession D & E; formerly Township of Rama, County of Simcoe, for the purpose of providing an easement for use by the general public to access public lands by motorized off-road vehicles; AND THAT we approve of the lands being expropriated in accordance with the Expropriations Act; AND THAT staff proceed with the action as required.

THAT we receive the Certificate of Approval dated September 11, 2023 for lands being Lot 27 & Lot 28, Con 10, Plan 264 formerly Township of Mara, County of Simcoe, for the purpose of providing an Easement for use by the general public to access public lands; AND THAT we approve of the lands being expropriated in accordance with the Expropriations Act; AND THAT staff proceed with the action as required.

THAT Bill No. 2023.56 be read a first, second, and third time and finally passed as a Bylaw on this 11th day of September 2023.

THAT Bylaw 2023.67, a Bylaw to confirm the proceedings of the Special Council meeting held on the 11th day of September 2023, be considered read a first, second and third time and finally passed.

THAT we adjourn at 11:06 a.m. until September 25, 2023 at 7:00 p.m.
