THAT we go into Closed Session at 6:32 p.m. to discuss personal matters in accordance with Section 239(2)(b) of the Municipal Act.

THAT we rise and report from Closed Session at 6:50 p.m.

THAT we adopt the Closed Session Council Minutes dated January 13, 2020 as presented.

THAT we appoint Kari Cipolla to the Brechin and Beyond Committee for the balance of the term ending November 14, 2022.

THAT we discussed a litigation matter and a personal matter (Fowler and Environmental Services Department)

That the agenda dated January 27, 2019 and additions thereto be adopted as presented.

THAT the Council minutes dated January 13, 2019 be adopted as presented.

THAT we receive the presentation regarding Securing Natural Lands in Ramara Township by Ron Reid and Mark Bisset of the Couchiching Conservancy as information.

THAT we receive the deputation by Georgi Jennings regarding the proposed shorewall bylaw. AND THAT we consider her comments prior to passing the bylaw.

THAT we adopt the recommendations of Items 9.1 to 9.10 as set out in the Consent Agenda dated January 27, 2020 and any additions thereto, with the exception of Items 92. and 9.6.

THAT we support the Township of South Frontenac correspondence regarding safety on family farms.

THAT we receive the correspondence from the Orillia & ARea Physician Recruitment & Retention Committee regarding the 7th Annual Winter Wonderland event. AND THAT Mayor Clarke and Councillors Gough and Snutch attend on behalf of the municipality.

THAT we receive the minutes of the Lagoon City Parks & Waterways meeting held January 9, 2020 as information.

THAT we receive the Ramara Trails Committee minutes of meeting held December 23, 2019, as Information.

THAT we receive the Longford Community Centre Board minutes of meeting held December 12, 2019 as Information.

THAT we receive the Ramara Public Library Board minutes of meetings held November 21, December 3 and December 16, 2019 as information.

THAT we receive the Ramara Youth Action Council meeting minutes dated December 19, 2019 and January 16, 2020, as information.

THAT we receive the Atherley Community Centre Board draft minutes dated January 16, 2020 as information.

THAT staff prepare a report on the exact number of feet of shorewall that the Township owns and is responsible for.

THAT Bill Nos. 2020.05, 2020.06, 2020.07, 2020,08, 2020.09, 2020.10 and 2020.11 be read a first, second and third time and finally passed as bylaws.

THAT Bylaw 2020.13, a bylaw to confirm the proceedings of the Council meeting held on the 27th day of January 2020, be considered read a first, second and third time and finally passed.

THAT we now adjourn at 9:34 p.m. until February 10th, 2020 at 7:00 p.m.
