Couchiching OPP Detachment Board

THAT the OPP Detachment Board Agenda dated June 12, 2025 be adopted as presented.

THAT the OPP Detachment Board meeting minutes dated May 1, 2025 be adopted as presented.

THAT Orillia OPP Detachment Quarter One Report be received for information.

THAT Chair, Vice Chair meet with Treasurer and the Mayor from the City of Orillia; AND THAT a letter be sent to the City of Orillia confirming that if this invoice is not paid by August 31, 2025 the City of Orillia representatives will be suspended until full payment is received.

THAT Staff Report CD-19-25 regarding Board Remuneration be received; AND THAT the 2026 non-elected member remuneration set at $125 per meeting plus mileage; AND THAT correspondence be sent to the partner municipalities advising of the Board's decision.

THAT the board request consideration from the partners of an additional remuneration stipend for the Chair and Vice chair within the 2026 budget

THAT Staff Report CD-20-25 regarding comparative of administrative of zone 3 detachment be received.

THAT Draft 2026 Budget be received as information; AND THAT the following estimate be adjusted to reflect change amount of prov appointee to $125 per meeting, deletion of snipted for chair and vice chair, AND THAT addition of a column of 2024 actual, 2025 budget line to 2026 draft AND THAT draft budget be sent to partner municipality to meet deadlines; AND THAT the budget also complies a draft budget pakckage AND THAT the final budget be brought back at the next schedule Board meeting for consideration and approval.

THAT Staff Report #CD- 18-25 regarding the Couchiching Community Safety and Well-Being Plan be received for information; AND THAT Cathy Clark to appointed to represent the Couchiching OPP Detachment Board on the Coordinating Committee for the Couchiching Safety and Well-Being Plan.

THAT the following members Drew Brennan, Judith Cox, and Angela Harwood form a community engagement sub-committee to work with the OPP representative to organize and streamline participation of both OPP members and Board representative at community events; AND THAT Drew Brennan draft a Terms of Reference for the community engagement sub-committee.
